WELCOME! We are a group of producers from the Sheridan, WY, area. Our goal is to provide locally raised food year round to the Sheridan area. Initially, we plan to offer weekly delivery to Sheridan, WY. If there is demand to deliver to surrounding communities (Buffalo, Ranchester, Decker, MT, etc.), please let us know!
COST
We charge an annual membership fee of $25 per family, less than 7 cents per day, for your entire household to have access to locally grown food year-round. This helps cover the cost of printing, etc. The Market is run entirely through volunteer efforts. ADDITIONALLY, you get to “try before you buy” a membership. You may place 2 orders without any membership fee. The website will automatically add the membership fee to your third order.
Our Market Manager works diligently to insure that you have a great experience on-line and in-person. With this Market, you will make your own choices from available products or you can also choose NOT to purchase. There is no minimum purchase required. If the membership fee is cost prohibitive, or you simply prefer to barter, please let us know. We are often looking for an extra set of hands! Call Market Manager Christy Lohof at 406-784-2549.
In addition to a membership fee, our customers are asked to support the cost of the Market’s online ordering system by paying 3% per order. In other words, when you purchase $20 of produce using the online Market, you’ll pay 60 cents toward website maintenance and hosting through locallygrown.net. We think it is best to be transparent about this cost, instead of building it into the price of our produce, which is priced to support our growers.
